GoPilot Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GoPilot, developed and maintained by Silentium Labs, handles information when you use the GoPilot mobile application.

1. Information GoPilot works with

GoPilot is a driver workflow and trip-organization application. Depending on the features you choose to use, the app may work with information such as trip details, permit images or documents, OCR-extracted text, route notes, mileage, receipts, expense records, invoices, documents, photos, QR codes, and other records you choose to create or import.

2. Local storage and user control

GoPilot is designed around local trip organization. Trip, permit, route, document, receipt, invoice, mileage, and GoPilot Pro records are stored on your device unless you choose an export, share, backup, purchase, or other feature that uses an external platform or service.

You control the information you enter, import, scan, save, export, share, or delete.

3. Camera, photos, files, OCR, and QR scanning

Camera, photo-library, file, OCR, and QR-scanning capabilities are used only when you choose features that require them. Permit images and documents may be processed to extract text for review. OCR output can contain errors and should always be compared with the official permit.

4. Purchases and platform services

If you purchase GoPilot Pro or use other platform-provided services, Google Play and related Android platform services may process transaction, account, device, or service information as necessary to provide those services. GoPilot does not receive your full payment-card details from Google Play. Information processed directly by Google is subject to Google's own privacy practices.

5. Sharing and exports

GoPilot does not automatically publish your trip records. Information may leave the app when you intentionally use features such as share, export, backup, opening another app or service, or submitting information through a support workflow. Once you choose to send information to another application or service, that recipient's privacy practices may apply.

6. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored GoPilot records remain on the device until you delete the relevant record, clear application data through available app/device controls, restore or replace data through an app feature, or uninstall the application. Information you intentionally export or share must be deleted from the destination separately.

7. Security

Silentium Labs takes reasonable measures to reduce unauthorized exposure of GoPilot data and limits the public GoPilot repository to non-sensitive documentation and media. No method of electronic storage or software security can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children's privacy

GoPilot is intended as a driver and business workflow tool and is not directed to children.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when GoPilot features or data-handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.

10. Contact and privacy inquiries

For privacy questions or requests, use the Feedback & Support option available in GoPilot or the developer contact method shown on GoPilot's Google Play listing. Do not post private permit, customer, payment, or account information in a public GitHub issue.
