GoPilot Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GoPilot, developed and maintained by Silentium Labs, handles information when you use the GoPilot mobile application.

1. Information GoPilot works with

GoPilot is a driver workflow, trip-organization, and driver-community application. Depending on the features you choose to use, the app may work with trip details, permit images or documents, OCR-extracted text, route notes, mileage, receipts, expense records, invoices, documents, photos, QR codes, and other records you choose to create or import.

If you join GoPilot Driver Community, GoPilot also processes a Community account identifier and the profile information you choose to provide, such as display name, driver type, and state. Community activity may include public room messages, replies, reactions, room-read state, blocks, reports, moderation records, pinned-message state, and feedback or feature ideas you choose to submit.

2. Local trip records and user control

Trip, permit, route, document, receipt, invoice, mileage, and GoPilot Pro records are stored on your device unless you choose an export, share, backup, purchase, Community, or other feature that uses an external platform or service. You control the information you enter, import, scan, save, export, share, submit, or delete.

3. GoPilot Driver Community and Supabase

GoPilot Driver Community uses Supabase as a backend service provider for authentication, database storage, realtime delivery, moderation support, and related Community functionality. Community data is transmitted to and stored by Supabase on behalf of GoPilot.

Joining Community is optional. GoPilot does not create a Community identity merely because you launch the main GoPilot app. A Community identity is created when you choose to join Driver Community.

Messages posted in public Community rooms are intended to be visible to other Community members. Do not post private permit details, customer information, payment information, passwords, precise live location, or other sensitive information in public rooms.

4. Community safety and moderation

GoPilot may process reports, blocks, moderation actions, message snapshots associated with reports, and account restrictions to operate and protect Driver Community. Authorized moderators or administrators may review this information to enforce Community rules, investigate reports, prevent abuse, or restore access.

Do not use Driver Community while driving. Pull over and park safely before reading, posting, replying, or reacting.

5. Camera, photos, files, OCR, and QR scanning

Camera, photo-library, file, OCR, and QR-scanning capabilities are used only when you choose features that require them. Permit images and documents may be processed to extract text for review. OCR output can contain errors and should always be compared with the official permit.

6. Purchases and platform services

If you purchase GoPilot Pro or use platform-provided services, Google Play and related Android platform services may process transaction, account, device, or service information as necessary to provide those services. GoPilot does not receive your full payment-card details from Google Play.

7. Sharing, exports, and external services

GoPilot does not automatically publish local trip records. Information may leave the app when you intentionally use share, export, backup, Community, another app or service, or a support workflow. Once you choose to send information to another application or service, that recipient's privacy practices may apply.

8. Retention and deletion

Locally stored GoPilot records remain on the device until you delete the relevant record, clear application data through available controls, restore or replace data through an app feature, or uninstall the application. Information you intentionally export or share must be deleted from the destination separately.

Community records are retained as needed to operate the service, preserve conversation and moderation integrity, investigate reports, and enforce Community rules. When a Community member uses the in-app deletion option, GoPilot removes the member's Community authentication identity and profile and removes authored message content while retaining limited tombstone or moderation records where reasonably necessary for reply structure, safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling.

9. Security

Silentium Labs takes reasonable measures to reduce unauthorized exposure of GoPilot data. Community database access is restricted using authentication and row-level access controls, and privileged service credentials are not included in the mobile application. No method of electronic storage or software security can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Children's privacy

GoPilot is intended as a driver and business workflow tool and is not directed to children. Driver Community is intended for drivers and transportation professionals, not for child-directed use.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when GoPilot features or data-handling practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
